The famous Italian fashion house, Valentino as a part of its business expansion, announces its plan of launching new boutiques solely dedicated to menswear line with the first store due to open in Paris later this year. Valentino’s creation of the designer Valentino Garavani unveils its autumn/winter 2013-2014 menswear collection on the 16th January 2013 in Paris. The menswear new line collection will be available in the first boutique in Paris to be inaugurated later this year, followed by stores in London and Milan.
The launching of special stores dedicated to only menswear has been showing an upward trend. Bottega Veneta launched its first men’s store in NYC last year, followed by Christian Louboutin men’s store. And now is the turn for Valentino. Fellow designer Pierpaolo Piccioli said: “Men’s can now be associated with Place Vendôme, our headquarters and the brand.” The architect David Chipperfield has signed the contract to give the new stores a stylish and chic look.
