Crystal handles are the highlight of THG’s latest Daum Collection

After giving us fittings like Leather bathtubs with Hermes, Frivole Bathroom faucet, Tangara waterfall spout, the Mossi collection, the Arabesque backlit bathtub, the Bagatelle Widespread Pierre Noire faucet and the Palatial Collection, THG has now tied up with French crystal ware brand Daum to bring out their latest Daum Collection of faucets with sculpted crystal handles. The collection features six hand- cast designs in hues of brown, green and amber. Unveiled at the ISH 2011, the collection is priced between $5,972 and $18,548, and are available at authorized THG designer showrooms all over North America. Check out the entire collection after the jump.

First up in the collection is the Dragon. Crafted using “pâte-de-Verre, a technique that uses the lost-wax method to make a mold for the sculptor,” the stunning faucet is available in three colors of Sun, Moon, and Jade. Next is a faucet design tagged Flore, crafted from the best crystal. The tap sports “intricate floral patterns etched into the crystal” are done up with pretty floral hues. Then is the tap tagged Paradise.
The faucet has been described aptly as “lush and exotic, the intricately carved yet delicate design of the handles.” Then there is the Island that reminds you of a green, clean, and warm tropical island whenever you turn it on, thanks to the “deep, clear ocean colored” crystal handle. The Vegetal collection is the closest to nature’s basket as the “Contemporary yet timeless” design keeps you grounded. And rounding up the collection is Ginkgo that draws its inspiration from the “unusual ginkgo plant” homage to the plant set in shimmering gold hues.
Thanks Clarissa
