70-inch multi touch table by Strukt is suave


2009 TOCA ME design conference in Munich witnessed the display of a stunning new multi-touch table called “Struktable” by Strukt. The table’s specialty is its 70 inch display and facility for simultaneous interaction of up to 8 people. Users can interact more intuitively with the touch sensitive surface that recognizes unlimited finger touches at the same time. The company uses VVVV, a toolkit for real time video synthesis, to develop the 5 demo applications.

The table’s portable and adaptable design makes it suitable for diverse applications such as Product presentations at trade fairs, interactive game stations at conferences, or information terminals in public space. The multi-touch table could be rented out for events or be permanently installed with custom software developed for individual needs.
