All new Macbooks get draped in silver and gold

Metallica colors have adorned Apple devices before but when we see it on a Macbook it has that special kind of interest in our eye. The new Macbook will now arrive in three metallic shades, namely silver, gold and space gray. The specifications remain the same at 13.1-milimeters thickness, a 12-inch Retina display with resolutions of up to 2304×1440 pixels, a 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor, 8GB RAM, a 256 SSD, Intel HD Graphics 5300 and a cool reversible USB Type-C port to deal with all the problems of the erstwhile USB port. It so comes to pass that this is the base model, priced at $1,599.

The higher version steps up to 1.2GHz (which can further be Turbo boosted to 2.6GHz). This model will also offer 512GB storage on an SSD. The design of both models, although small and compact, will have a fanless design. Another intriguing feature in the body design is the edge-to-edge design. Apple have backed each of the keys with its own LED light so as to ensure uniform lighting across the keyboard. On the input front, the trackpad has also received an overhaul. The pressure sensitivity is now uniform across the surface and the trackpad is smart enough to differentiate between higher pressure presses and lighter ones, thus making shading and sketching a bliss.
The all new Macbook will be out by April 10.
