New kid on the block Audio Power Labs is proud of its first and only product – the 833TNT monoblock power amp and with reason. It is based on a push-pull configuration and has a microprocessor-controlled liquid-cooling system using capillary action to circulate liquid from small hot regions to larger radiating areas and back again without the need for pumps. The amplifier boasts an output of 200 watts RMS into 8 or 4Ω and a frequency response ranging from 15Hz to 25kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 85dB and total harmonic distortion less than one percent across the entire frequency range.
This product was showcased at the AXPONA High-End audio show, a North American Audio Expo last month. Other features include an Audio Research LS27 preamp, Musical Fidelity M6CD CD player, and Vandersteen 3A speakers. This will set you back by an expected range of $150,000 to $170,000.
