Maximus successor Optimus keyboards are a new name in the market. It has a groundbreaking organic light-emitting diode (OLED) keyboard that allowed users to completely customize their own key layouts. It operates on a “totally different principle”, the more compact Popularis is projected to retail for below USD$1,000, a marked difference from the Maximus (see picture below), which cost USD$1,500 at its launch.
