GD-463D10 3D monitor from JVC is all set for a Japanese release

Almost every electronics brand is offering a 3D HDTV. So it was about time that JVC followed suit. Finally the company has made their foray into the 3D world by introducing an extremely awesome 3D monitor. Known as the GD-463D10, it is a 46-inch LCD HD monitor with a native 1,920 x 1080 resolution, 2,000:1 contrast ratio, twin ten-watt speakers and support for 3D material. Expected to release in Japan early next month, this 3D monitor will also include a pair of polarized glasses for the best 3D viewing experience. Priced at a whopping ¥700,000 ($6,978), I really wonder if this monitor is even worth an investment.
