Holland Electro Wave TV – Now watch your TV on your Microwave

Now this concept of a TV on a kitchen appliance is not too new. We have seen LCDs on refrigerators for some time now. But having a screen on your microwave is hard to gulp down. Maybe not for some but I certainly cannot watch my fav soap or movie on my microwave door while it cooks my chicken too. However recently at IFA in Berlin, the Holland Electro Wave TV made its first appearance. The Wave is the work of a Dutch designer Marcel Wanders who has designed a whole range of kitchen appliances for the Dutch consumer electronics company. The Wave is conceptually a 23-liter microwave oven with an integrated TFT screen and DVD player in the door. It hasn’t yet made it to the production stage, but I’m sure it won’t be long before you see forget to see what’s cooking in the microwave as you get engrossed in your soccer matches or hogwash soaps.
