Ever thought that furniture could be deceitful? This particular one is! Shaped like a piano it is anything but one. Designed by Nicholas Lovegrove and Demian Reppucci, this piano-shaped table has a built-in iPod dock along with a pair of speakers. Too cool for a table. Imagine calling your friends over for dinner and when they request you to play something on your piano you perform the entire gig with not only the piano but the guitar, bass, percussions… everything, thanks to your built-in iPod. Add a bit of excitement to your interiors with this idiosyncratic design – the concerto table, a multipurpose dining table built in the shape of a piano.
It is designed to be an integral part of the evening’s experience so it also features a mounting base and speaker system for your iPod. Simply open the sound lid in the center of the table to reveal two surface-mounted speakers. You can also use this area for storage so the table doubles nicely as a home office desk. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced. But soon your living room will be sporting one of these. So when are you hosting the piano party?
