JVC unveils the DLA-SH7NL video projector

JVC is a brand I trust. So I fully recommend all you folks in search of a projector to blindly splurge on the DLA-SH7NL unveiled by JVC Japan. This video projector with a 10 megapixel (4,096×2,400 to be precise) resolution promises to be completely worth its $15,000 price tag. Furthermore, this gadget boasts of a native contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and a 330W lamp that produces 5,000 lumens. The projector also flaunts JVC’s D-ILA (Digital Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier) technology that makes it possible to display two or four screens in WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) and full HD resolution at the same time.

Along with the projector, you get a USB port, four DVI-D interfaces, and LAN. But JVC does not include the projection lens in the final price. So that takes the cost of this projector way above $15,000. The main target buyers of JVC are places like museums and medical institutions that use projectors daily.
The new projector will be available for sale in Japan from early next month. There is however no new whether this projector will be available for sale outside of Japan.
