Canadian luxury brand Mobiado, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the high-end smartphone maker has introduced a new collection of handsets named ‘Professional 3 X’, which according to Mobiado continues with the brand’s heritage of blurring the lines between art and engineering. If you find most of the luxury smartphones on sale currently too gaudy and flashy for your taste, the Mobiado 3 X collection will definitely meet your interest. Instead of being wrapped with gems and precious metals, the handset’s frame is CNC machined from aircraft aluminum and then finished with a black anodized coating.
Available in two versions, Amboyna Burl and Olivewood, the Professional 3 X series showcases an asymmetrical exotic wood grip, which is a unique design feature. The use of wood adds a classy touch to the handset. The sapphire crystal plates are hand painted with silver lettering and precision inset into the body. The battery cover mechanism displays three rubies and is accessible with a Mobiado key. In terms of specifications, the hardware under the hood is pretty basic and rather unimpressive. It is equipped with a 2.4” QVGA display, expandable microSD memory, and a camera with no mention of its resolution.
