After car makeovers, it’s time for them to inspire sophisticated gadgets, once again. Mobiado has added yet another mobile phone to its new Aston Martin collection. Tagged as the Grand Touch Aston Martin, the smartphone sports a precision CNC machined body created using solid aircraft aluminum, which has been anodized for everyday usage. The body surface has been created with “curves to straight-line edges, a process that can only be executed with the precision of CNC machining.” There is also a gold version where the CNC machined is made from solid brass and plated with yellow or rose gold.
Based on versions, mother of pearl (MOP) or ebony wood is inset below the surface to create the right details of depth. The back panel covering the battery has been crafted from a single piece of sapphire crystal and the phone is finished with are gun metal black stainless steel screws and black painted sapphire crystal buttons.
The quad-band GSM device’s sports a 4″ S-LCD capacitive touchscreen with pixel dimensions of 480 x 800 pixels. Other features include A-GPS, and WLAN connectivity, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR, 3.5mm audio jack, 5 MP camera with LED flash and all the touch-based sensors.
Available in five engineering styles, you can pick up the Grand Touch Aston Martin in Black with Black MOP, Black with Gold MOP, Silver with White MOP, Yellow Gold with Ebony Wood, and Rose Gold with Ebony Wood.
