Targeting the high-end segment of the market, the Korean manufacturer is leaving no stones unturned with his newest edition, the Samsung S9402 Duos luxury handset. The phone will be made of premium materials, which include hardened scratch-resistant display glass and a metal frame covered with rhodium (chemical and mechanical damage resistant platinum group metal). It will also come equipped with a Bang & Olufsen/ ICEpower amplifier to improve the phone’s speaker sound quality.
Some of the other features of the Samsung S9402 Duos include Triband GSM (900/1800/1900 Mhz), GPRS/EDGE connectivity on 1st SIM card, Dual-band (900/1800 Mhz), GPRS/EDGE connectivity on 2nd SIM card 2″ 262K color QVGA AMOLED display. Along with an FM Radio 1 GB of built-in memory, microSDHC memory card slot (up to 8 GB), Bluetooth 2.0 and USB, and 960-mAh batteries. The best feature is the 5-mega-pixel camera with autofocus; image stabilization; WDR and LED flash, and hold your breath, the camera is also equipped with the new smile detection. The phone has dimensions of 115 x 48 x 16 mm and weighs just 140 grams. With these amazing features, you can bet on a hefty price-tag for the phone. Our only grouse will be the lack of 3G.
