Tag Heuer Link Smartphone hits the market


The brand Tag Heuer is not a new in the mobile market. And after the Meridiist, its time for the watchmakers to bring out the Link smartphones to the markets. You can choose between steel, 18-carat rose gold, or titanium finished case with rubber, calfskin, alligator, lizard, or carbon leather trims. Reminding you of the brand’s chronographic background, the phone sports a crown on the side. Powered by Android 2.2 OS, the phone features a Gorilla Glass screen, which protects a 3.5-inch display. The smartphone is also said to be “fully loaded with a host of TAG Heuer add-ons: customized screen designs, widgets, animations, wallpapers, icons, and ring tones.”

The phone offers 256 MB of internal storage, and an 8 GB memory card. The phone also comes with a 5-mega-pixel auto-focus HD camera, 11 hours of music playback, access to over 250,000 applications through the Android market. Created in partnership with the Meridiist again, the € 4,700 ($6750) phone also supports both 3G GSM and WCDMA networks.
