Apple’s new $130 battery case gives the iPhone XS a much-needed ‘longer battery life’

Apple’s innovative inventions have brought the technological world to a standstill from its inception. Only recently, the $879 billion company has started selling silicone “Smart Battery Cases” for the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR models.

The main focus behind this product is a day and a half talk-time, a major upgrade from the current battery. Dressed up in black or white, and encased with a soft microfiber, the new cases are compatible with wireless chargers. Apple also says you can charge your iPhone and the case itself simultaneously. Unfortunately, the battery cases are not compatible with iPhone X and earlier models.

Upping its own benchmarks, Apple claims the designated talk time for the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR cases are up to 33, 37 and 39 hours, respectively. Internet longevity for the three phones is up to 21, 20 and 22 hours. And video playback is rated at up to 25, 25 and 27 hours.
