Mobius MKII loudspeakers don’t cash on their looks alone. The Loudspeakers stands approximately 38″ tall and uses four drivers in its 8″ bipolar array that sits atop the speaker to produce 360 degrees of sound. The orb houses two 1″ silk dome tweeters and a pair of 6″ midbass drivers with neodymium motors mounted back to back. The front-firing custom made subwoofer (10″-12″ in size) is ported through the tail section of the enclosure providing a frequency response down to 20Hz. First-order crossovers are used and on the top end, the speakers will play up to 20kHz.
The Mobius MKII loudspeakers come in a variety of high-quality metallic and piano finishes. They will be available in the Spring of 2008 with the possibility that the Mobius MKII will make an appearance at CES. They will sell for about $10k-$15k and an exact price is still to be determined at this point.
