Vertu celebrates Ramadan with bespoke phones

Vertu has focused their attention towards the Middle Eastern market, where owning luxury phones is commonplace. This is why they have collaborated with artist Wissam Shawkat to create amazing calligraphy designs on their smartphones. The context of the art will be around the theme of love and will run through the season of Ramadan, the period of abstinence and charity among Muslims.

“I’m honored to be working with Vertu. The brand has changed the definition of what a mobile phone can be; from something very practical to an innovative, extremely personal object. Each phone combines hand craftsmanship with leading edge technology, resulting in a sensorial experience in both design and function,“ said the artist.
To add further customization to the phones, the company is also allowing potential buyers to opt for a bespoke design option. Through this model, you can commission an artist to create a custom design of your choice on a Vertu phone. Hutch Hutchison of Vertu said: “This collaboration with Wissam is the ultimate expression of our bespoke offering, whereby customers can own not only a unique Vertu but also a work of art.”

The new Vertu phones will be available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Lebanon.
