British luxury mobile phone manufacturer and retailer, Vertu, seems to be on a roll! The UK-based entity is on an aggressive international expansion mode, and plans to open 49 new mono-brand boutiques worldwide by the end of this year. Vertu, an initial subsidiary under Nokia that sold to EQT at a $265 million, with a mere 10% retainership, though has increased in popularity, is attempting to catch up with other smartphone manufacturers. However, the luxury phone manufacturer has impressed us with its technologically modest creations such as the Signature Cobra, Ascent Ti Mixed Metal Collection, Constellation Quest Ferrari, the Signature Dragon Collection, Ascent Ferrari GT, and certainly not forgetting the Boucheron 150, and Vertu’s latest smartphone addition, the Vertu Ti, sporting a Sapphire crystal touchscreen. A handset entirely handmade at the company’s manufacturing unit in England.
With the 49 stores this year, Vertu boutiques would total up to a good 120. Looking forward to more exciting collections from your end, Vertu!
