The new-generation Phantom sedan is creating ripples of sorts since January this year. And one thoroughly pleased customer recently decided to share such of his joy with the entire crew at Rolls-Royce! In an act of appreciation, the gentleman serenated the RR staff with a custom cake that apparently matched the look and feel of his own car to the tee!
While hand-delivering the delicious cake, the anonymous client stated, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the hard-working people; the unsung heroes who are responsible for these mobile works of art.” Rolls Royce was certainly pleased with the gesture and even remarked that it is the first time that a customer had expressed gratitude in such a kind way! Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, further said, “We thank our patron for this extraordinary gesture, which was warmly welcomed by everyone at the Home of Rolls-Royce. It is not unusual for our patrons to thank the men and women in the Rolls-Royce family who are responsible for building their motor cars, but this is the first time that one has asked to express their thanks in this way.”
As for the cake, the mouthwatering wonder was blue in color with gleaming accentuations in silver. It is said to be a matching replica of the eighth-generation Phantom as was duly manufactured for the Good man in the marquee’s Goodwood, England factory.
