Dubai set to open doors to the world’s biggest vegan restaurant

Dubai boasts of several awe-inspiring sky-scrappers and Michelin-starred restaurants. However, in a first of its kind, the Emirati land is now set to open a luxe vegan restaurant that happens to be the biggest of its kind in the world. Yes, that’s right! With Veganism growing popular in the UAE, the opening of the restaurant is a strategic move that is bound to be welcomed by the citizens of Dubai as well as those visiting it.

Christened as ‘Veganity’, the high-end restaurant will serve a range of delectable vegan cuisines that have carefully been curated by a line of top chefs. Unlike the usual dearth of options for vegans, the menu at the Emirati restaurant will feature over 200 from around the globe. Some of the expected fares include gnocchi, vegan ‘meatball’ pasta, and vegan fried ‘chicken’, along with a host of desserts. The new restaurant will open in City Walk 2 on August 16.

Commenting on its opening, a spokesperson for the restaurant in a statement said, “Taking it a step further, owner and head chef Sky Sommers wanted to create something that’s never been done before by opening the Veganity restaurant in the heart of Dubai on the main street of City Walk, creating a haven for vegans and non-vegans to be able to enjoy healthy yet soulful gourmet food that’s just as enjoyable.” Well, if you’re up for some healthy food in Dubai, don’t forget to visit Veganity onward August 16!
