If you’re in the mood for a quick (but mega-delicious) bite while shopping – Harrods, London has got you covered! The luxury departmental store is all set to open doors to Gordon Ramsay’s Burger joint before the end of the year. Yes, that’s right!
After a successful inning at Las Vegas since opening in 2012, the Burger place is now set to serve Londoners with gourmet burgers, sides, hand-cut crispy fries, ‘secret sauces,’ and milkshakes; all made using locally-sourced ingredients. While there is no word on the menu or pricing yet, connoisseurs can expect pricey toppings including Guinness mustard aioli, Gruyère cheese, mushrooms, and crispy onions on the “pub burger”; Dubliner cheese and mangalitza pork bacon on the “farmhouse burger”; and foie gras, chèvre goat’s cheese, port aioli, and frisée on the “foie burger.”
As per industry sources, Ramsay also plans to open 50 sites across the UK in the next five years, with the Bread Street kitchen concept rollout in the pipeline. There is no confirmation on the opening date of the Gordon Ramsay Burger Joint yet. However, shoppers are suggested to keep an eye out for further announcements. After all, running errands with the promise of a hearty meal at the end sure sounds like a good idea!
