Opera lovers are flocking in huge numbers to Dubai as it hosts an enchanting Opera this month. The iconic show this year will open to the tunes of Mozart’s most famous stage productions – The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi Fan Tutte and Don Giovanni, before progressing into a series of other acts. While the Opera will have your ears covers, the Armani Hotel next door is all set to look after your taste buds.
In an endeavor to match up to Mozart’s mesmerizing works, the hotel will roll out a special Afternoon tea at its in-house lounge throughout September. The exclusive affair will celebrate European music and culture in full swing and will lay out a tempting feast for its guests. One can expect a thoughtfully created menu of sweet and savory dishes that will include sandwiches made from Black Forest turkey ham, sauerkraut, salmon and cream cheese, mini pretzels and a delightful cranberry, almond, and chicken salad trammezine.
Apart from the Austrian-inspired piquants, one can also enjoy Armani’s unique espresso-flavored Opera cake, the Vienna Sacher Torte and a decadent Black Forest sphere. The delicious riot in your mouth is supported by an equally soothing ambience and views of the Dubai fountain. Tea and Mozart at Armani Lounge can be sampled from 3- 6pm daily (throughout September) for AED 170 (USD 46.28).
