Renowned Champagne brand has roped in Lady Gaga for its novel campaign, which will see the creation of a unique, limited edition bottle and a sculpture designed by the diva herself. The artistic venture will also support Gaga’s Born This Way foundation, which promotes youth mental health initiatives.
Announcing the partnership on Instagram, Gaga posted a video and promotional image featuring her holding a deep purple-tinted double-magnum of 2006 Brut Rose in a quirky outfit. Her look for the campaign was conceptualized by Makeup artist Sarah Tanno who created an eclectic effect by hiding her eyebrows and painting her pout a deep hue.
Commenting on the campaign, Gaga in the video said, “Their tradition is centuries old, but they push their own boundaries and find ways to reinvent themselves completely,” while further adding, “And I am thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this together.”
The collaboration will also include an advertising film made in association with artist Nick Knight. In another statement, Gaga has remarked, ‘I always thought Dom Pérignon was a model of what creation is all about. There is no rule, except one: To never stop reaching for the stars.’
The Lady Gaga x Dom Perignon partnership will launch on April 6, 2021.
