Wine lovers, here’s some exciting news for you! The makers of Game of Thrones (via Warner Bros.) have joined hands with top Californian wine producer Vintage Wine Estates Inc. for a trio of special edition wines. Yes, you heard that right!

The spirits are aimed to celebrate the arrival of the upcoming House of the Dragon prequel series set to premiere on August 21. Called the ‘House of Dragon’ collection, it will consist of three wines celebrating the “Day of the Dragon.”

The 750ml bottles will house a 2021 Pinot Noir from Oregon, a 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from California, and a 2020 red blend from Lodi, California. Each of the editions are said to be vinted and bottled at the Seven Kingdoms Cellars, a division of VWE with a special focus on quality.

The House of the Dragon wines pay tribute to Tyrion Lannister who once said, “I’d like to have my own vineyard, make my own wine: The Imp’s Delight. Only my close friends could drink it.” They will be launched on June 22, 2022, and will be available for $20/per bottle at www.houseofthedragonwines.com.
