McDonald’s Japan offers first limited edition burgers for ¥1,000

We’ve heard of limited edition bags, watches, cars, even helmets, and speakers. Nevertheless, have you heard of a limited edition burger? Here’s presenting you with not one, but three limited edition burgers from McDonald’s Japan that we are certain (taking into consideration the ingredients) will sell like hotcakes. The ever-famous fast food chain is known to always come up with exciting deals, which keep us coming back, and craving for more. McDonald’s Japan has conjured a new deal, offering the Quarter Pounder Jewelry series, one that is short lived, and available only for a day. That’s’ three premium burgers, which would be sold only for a single day, and that too with a hiked price tag of ¥1,000 ($10) for a burger without fries or soda.

The burgers will be sold on July 6, 13 and 20, and have fancy names like Gold Ring, Black Diamond and Ruby Spark. Still musing on what the $10 worth secret ingredients could be? Here’s a quick peek:

Gold Ring –
Sold only on July 6, it comes with fillings like pineapple, smoked bacon slab, a quarter pound beef patty, Monterey jack cheese and rich BBQ sauce, including more than 10 different spices

Black Diamond –
Sold only on July 13, it has truffle sauce, quarter pound beef patty, grilled mushrooms, onions, and melted cheese

Ruby Spark –
Sold only on July 20th, it includes five slices of chorizo, avocado fillings, quarter pound beef patty and pepper jack cheese

You can even add these with medium fries and soda for an extra ¥200 ($2), which McDonald’s Japan has named the “Jewelry Set”.
