Supper – A Michelin starred delivery service is all ready to take London by storm

Food ordering services and apps are dime a dozen. Taking this service one step further is a company called “Supper”, which promises to ensure that customers can enjoy gourmet dishes and the presentation offered in the restaurants in the comfort of their homes or offices. This service is to be launched in September in London.

Thermal lined boxes are specially designed to transport the food on motorbikes and they offer to cater to 20 people in a single order. The uniformed drivers, stylishly branded delivery bags make this take away experience very different from what we are used to.

To complement this gourmet food, Supper has added an in house sommelier service, where each dish is offered with a pairing recommendation from their wine list which has been compiled with the help of Allen Cheesman and Berkmann Wine Cellars.

The brainchild and founder of Supper explains that the drinks would be priced a bit above the standard retail price but would definitely be lower than the prices charged for the same at a high end restaurant.

The company has already signed up with 19 restaurants across London, some of them being Tamarind, Benares, City steakhouse, Japanese eateries like Matsuri and Tsunami and Bocconcino.

This is the perfect combination of eating high-end gourmet dishes in the comfort of your home without having to go through the hassles of reservations and dressing up for the occasion. So gear up and get ready to see their cute little Japanese bikes with their logo painted on them weaving in and out of London traffic from September onwards.
