Take a look at the most expensive burger in Japan – Its has gold dusted buns and costs $900


Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s latest culinary concoction is not for the faint-hearted. Chefs at the Oak Door steakhouse have curated a special recipe honoring Crown Prince Naruhito, ahead of his coronation; a massive wagyu beef hamburger! But let me tell you the beef burger which is completed with gold-dusted buns, costs a staggering 100,000 yen ($908).

A bite into the burger and you will sense the most expensive ingredients; including foie gras and shaved black truffles which contribute to its hefty fare.

Aptly named the Golden Giant Burger, each one measures 25 centimeters wide by 15 centimeters high and weighs 3 kilograms. Oak Door steakhouse recommends the portion to be shared by a group of six to eight people, which will also be accompanied by a bottle of wine.
