The Ritz Carlton Shanghai, and Graff diamonds come together for a jewelry themed afternoon tea

GRAFF and The Ritz Carlton have come to be known for their impressive attention to quality and craftsmanship over the years. And it is probably their common love for finesse and luxury that has brought them together for a unique afternoon tea celebration, all set to be hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong. Inspired by the British tradition of high-tea, the experience will showcase GRAFF’s aesthetic excellence along with the hotel’s culinary delights.

For a unique tea party of sorts, experts at the Ritz Carlton have put together ten assorted dishes that are each inspired by GRAFF’s iconic jewels. The brand’s signature butterfly themed jewelry and its likes have been meticulously aped into delights ranging from the Salted Caramel Ruby Butterfly, the Strawberry and Rose Butterfly Earrings, and the Mango Cheesecake Silhouette Collection. The experience is further accentuated by a rather ornate revolving tea stand that is created exclusively for the afternoon tea extravaganza. Guests can enjoy their cuppa against the backdrop of the stunning views of the Bund and Huangpu River from Aura at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, while further leaning about GRAFF’s remarkable history of crafting high-end jewellery from advisors on board.

Per Mr. Andrew Houghton, the British General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, “In collaborating with GRAFF to create this afternoon tea, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong is demonstrating its deep commitment to culinary excellence and creating unforgettable guest experiences. By adding the talent, inspiration and quality of GRAFF to our guest offering, we are bringing our guests the fruits of an explosion of creative energy between the outstandingly skilled employees of two genuinely world-class organizations. The results align perfectly with our mission to provide a refined, relaxed guest environment and unforgettable personal service.” All said, this is one helluva tea party that should not be missed!
