Having recently added a Dior collaboration to their body of work, the crystal connoisseurs at Baccarat show no signs of slowing down with their newly released products for spring. The two piece collection features a stunning scarlet crystal vase and a decorative mirror, the former being a limited edition with only 99 pieces produced. The Red New Antique vase is inspired by the iconic Médicis vase and bridges classical design with modern materials and technical know-how to create a product that is truly a “new antique”. The vase’s geometric shape and deep red color only serve to accentuate its timeless quality. We can easily picture this Marcel Wanders designed vase as the only striking bolt of color in a minimal white and chrome apartment.
The collection’s second offering is a mirror inspired by Baccarat veteran Georges Chevalier’s original 1948 Sun Clock. The circular mirror is surrounded by a halo of crystal “sunrays” to create a décor piece that is as fantastic as it is functional. Titled Mirror Soleil, this mirror will certainly brighten up a room!
You can snap up a numbered limited edition New Antique vase for around $31,000; while the Mirror Soleil will retail for close to $51,500.
