C. Bechstein unveils Golden Grand Piano to mark its 160th anniversary

C. Bechstein has sealed its position as one of Germany’s most historic yet modern piano-makers. As they mark their 160th Anniversary, the celebration had to be a fitting one. So to commemorate the occasion, they have launched the gleaming Golden Grand Piano, possibly the world’s most precious! The CB B 212 model is a masterpiece of acoustic engineering and craftsmanship, fit for only the most talented. Rich gold leafing, delicate wooden carving, and elegant miniature paintings after the Watteau style adorn this stunner which also boasts an elaborate Louis XV case.

It has been built after the specifications of a 19th-century masterpiece made by Carl Bechstein himself for the royal court of England.

C. Bechstein Golden Grand Piano recalls a glorious era in the company’s history when they catered to royalty and crowned heads of the world.
The heavily ornamented piano took three years to complete and has been worked upon by their finest craftsmen. This is one bound to go down in history for its elaborateness.
