These leather dressed coffee machines are begging to be shown off

Kitchen appliances are getting stylish makeovers these days. First, it was Dolce and Gabbana with their colorful Smeg products, now it’s the humble Nespresso machine that’s being dressed up in luxurious leather. Behind the new style is a company called Pigment France that has been giving tableware and small kitchen appliances a new look with materials like rattan, leather and technostraw for quite a while.

The company’s Nespresso machines are truly a chic take on an everyday object. The company uses calf leather from northern Europe that is tanned in Italy, with a special treatment that makes it waterproof and scratch-resistant. You’ll notice that the Pigment France’s artisans have not merely covered their coffee machines with leather, but chosen to add quaint quilting patterns for a luxurious look.

The pictured machines are dressed in pleasing neutral shades, but the company offers custom colors too. Prices for these beautiful machines start at $4,485. You can get your own at Table Art in LA.
