Let’s face it, bigger is always better. LG plans to make it big this 2016 with a new line of 4K Ultra-HD televisions that will premiere at CES. These TVs will sport LG’s HDR-Plus technology that combines the so-called Color Prime Plus and company’s Ultra Luminance technology. This super HD line of televisions will show up in four series, including the UH9500 series with screen sizes ranging between 55-to 86-inches, the UH8500 series with sizes between 55 to 75-inches and the UH7700 series available in sizes ranging from 49 to 65-inches. The UH9800 series will be the big daddy of them all, the 98-inch 8K SUPER UHD TV!
“We’re confident our 2016 HDR-enabled SUPER UHD TV will generate much excitement not only in the industry, but also with consumers in general,” said Brian Kwon, President and CEO at LG’s Home Entertainment Company in a press statement. These super-sized screens are capable of boosting non-HDR content to look sharper and clearer. The televisions by LG are clearly meant for larger homes and will fit perfectly inside those million-dollar mansions we’ve been stumbling across. Pricing hasn’t been mentioned though we do expect these television screens to be priced high. Keep watching this space for more on LG’s upcoming super UHD televisions!
