most-expensive-toilet
Solid Gold Toilet: $29 million
This toilet was built a decade and a half ago from solid 24 carat gold and covered with precious gemstones. It was presented at a stall by Hang Fung Gold Technology at their showroom in Hong Kong surrounded by a restroom whose sink, tiles and doors were also made of gold, the indicated price is reflective of the entire gilded space. The brain behind this idea was jeweler Lam Sai-wing who was inspired by communist leader Lenin’s vision that the most appropriate thing to do with gold would be to build public toilets out of it. Here’s another artist who took Lenin’s words too seriously.

most-expensive-bathtub
Le Grand Queen Bathtub: $1.74 million
Your bathroom is not complete without a bathtub, so why not have this tub that’s made from 180 million-year-old fossilized wood? Priced at $1.74 million, the tub has been created by a company named Caijou who obtained the wood from 10 ton trunk that had to be excavated in Indonesia by 200 people in a process that supposedly took 600,000 hours. Having a soak in this tub is the closest to time travel that you’ll get.

All things considered though, we might trade in all the gold toilets and fossilized bathtubs for this bathroom that’s made entirely of chocolate!
