Prince Hubert de Polignac debuts equestrian-inspired Knight Trunk

Until now Prince Hubert de Polignac has collaborated to bring an unison between trunks and one of the finest cognacs. Of late, the luxury cognac manufacturer has gone a step further, building on self-confidence, created its first-ever trunk, inspired by the world of equestrianism (horse riding skill). Christening it the Knight Trunk, Prince Hubert de Polignac offers its latest creation for auction at the 8th annual La Part des Anges auction on September 19.

The Knight Trunk is made of leather-embossed canvas with a poplar wood frame, which has been polished with nickel-plated brass. The trunk holds all the necessary accessories that a rider could need – brushes, mane comb, curry comb, cover, and the likes.

Also featuring in the trunk is a precious carafe containing an exceptional blend of very old vintage cognacs. So far, only two of these trunks have been created; any additions would have to be made to order.

The Knight Trunk is expected to fetch at least 10,000 -12,ooo EUR ($13,100 – $15,800) at the auction.
