French furniture company Roche Bobois and haute couture label Christian Lacroix have embarked on an interesting new collaboration. Creative director of Christian Lacroix Maison, Sacha Walckhoff, has created a series of furniture using high-quality materials such as lacquered wood and brass. The living room pieces include a beechwood chair with its legs half-finished in brass and graphic black and white striped upholstery. Other colorways include black and fuchsia, red and black, or blue and black.
Another standout piece is the oval nesting coffee table whose top is finished in acacia veneer, mirror and polished brass alongside the cabinet with two push-to-open doors adorned with a landscape that references Arles in southern France. The cabinet also features brass covered legs.
The collection also includes a console table with the same brass legs that combines glass and brass elements, a faux classical armchair with a matching footstool, a beautiful screen with lush botanical prints and a series of stackable storage cubes featuring those eye catching stripes.
We’ll keep you updated on the availability and prices of these products.
