Super Mario is an assassin in this limited edition sculpture

Fool’s Paradise, a toy designer based in Hong Kong has given the world a mash-up that we never knew we needed. Called “Super Professional”, the toy set uses everyone’s favorite plumber Mario and transforms him into Leon from Luc Besson’s 1994 film Leon: The Professional. You may recall that Leon was hitman, so this is quite the career change for Mario.

Mario wears a black jacket, pants and a hat as well as Leon’s signature sunglasses. He is seen toting around a potted piranha plant and a gun with a Bullet Bill silencer. Meanwhile Princess Peach is reimagined as Leon’s protégé Mathilda. She is armed with a Bullet Bill and a Boo.

The figures are limited to 398 pieces worldwide and are now available for pre-order. They are priced at $268 (+$30 for shipping). This is a pretty creative combination of two pop culture staples and we hope for many more interesting mash-ups from Fool’s Paradise.
