Though Andre Agassi has officially retired from playing tennis on court, he has a lot up his sleeve. Playing the new role of a hotelier, Andre and his wife, Stefanie Graf, are developing a luxury hotel complex, the Fairmont Tamarack. Unlike many other celebs who just offer their name to endorse anything, Andre- Graf team begs to differ. The couple is not only investing in the project, but they will be actively involved in the development, design, and overall lifestyle offerings. The prominent couple chose Tamarack for their first lifestyle development because of its stunning natural surroundings, ideal not just for skiing but for the unparalleled active outdoor lifestyle it offers.
“Tamarack is the perfect location for anyone interested in taking a little time out of their lives to get away or spend quality time with their family,” quotes Agassi. The couple’s development company, Agassi Graf Development LLC, has partnered with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts which will manage the place. The resort located in Donnelly, Idaho will actually have two locations, a resort and spa located in Tamarack’s village and a mid-mountain site. The place is expected to be completed in 2009 with sales of residences expected to start in early 2007.
