Guinness and AirBNB have together created a contest that lets a lucky winner stay in the Irish brewery’s rooftop bar which has been turned into a penthouse for the occasion. The Guinness Brewery is the latest spot on the list of locations where AirBNB has hosted single night stays. Last fall, a stay at Count Dracula’s castle in Transylvania was up for grabs.
The prize includes a tour of the brewery with a personal guide who will take you from Thomas Street, Arthur Guinness’s home residence to historic railway lines, across cobbled stones and through the underground tunnels. Guests will also learn to pour the perfect pint and get to explore the world of Guinness advertising, not mention the best views of Dublin city from the Gravity bar, which boasts a 360-degree panoramic view of the city below.
They’ll also throw in a six-course Guinness-inspired dinner and the next day, a session with Brewer Peter Simpson designed to teach guests all about the basics of brewing, the various ingredients that make Guinness so great.
All you have to do to participate is answer the question “What makes you the world’s biggest Guinness fan?” in 50-200 words. Your answer can be in English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Korean.
