Obama’s official date for moving into the White House may not have arrived yet. But he still gets a piece of the cake in advance. President-elect Barack Obama and his family will be moving in to Washington DC and will be staying in the Hay-Adams hotel through January 15, (the traditional date for the new presidents and their families to move into the Blair House) He requested the Blair House officials if they could move into the Blair house two weeks in advance so their kids Sasha and Malia could attend school from 5th January at Sidwell Friends.

The master bedroom overlooks the magnificent White House.
