Belmond Hotel Cipriani ropes in Francesca Ruffini to commemorate 60th anniversary

When a lavish hotel like Venice’s Belmond Hotel Cipriani turns 60, celebrations are truly in honor. Given the fabulous clientele of the luxury hotel, we weren’t entirely surprised to hear that Francesca Ruffini, the founder and creative director of For Restless Sleepers was roped in.

A capsule collection has been fashioned and curated to commemorate the celebration. Ruffini, a Belmond Hotel loyalist took inspiration from Mocenigo, a particular rose which by the way, is also used by fragrance label The Merchant of Venice for the scent diffused throughout the hotel.

The outcome is rather impressive. An exquisite rose pattern was developed by Ruffini which was splashed across three designs, crafted from silk satin. Sold at the hotel’s boutique, the collection will entail a two-piece pajama set, a robe and a pair of shorts.

The name Belmond has been ringing a bell with luxury-seekers since over 40 years ago. With an impressive portfolio spanning locations like St. Petersburg, Santa Barbara, Rio de Janeiro and London, the group now has 49 hotels.
