Clash of World’s Top Tennis Stars at Burj Al Arab Hotel

Burj Al Arab has been in the news for a long time now. Ronaldo rejuvenated here and Naomi Campbell partied. Now it’s the turn of tantalizing tennis players. And if it’s the world’s best hotel, it goes without saying that the worlds best players are there for sure. Picture this: tennis legend Andre Agassi and world champion Roger Federer playing a match at 692 feet in the air at Dubai’s Burj Al Arab luxury hotel. To promote the Dubai Duty-Free Men’s Open, the Burj Al Arab converted its helipad – floating near the top of the hotel’s glass tower – to a 4,467 square foot grass tennis court. The players, Andre Agassi and the world No. 1, Roger Federer couldn’t resist the temptation to have a friendly knock about on the world’s highest tennis court (who could anyways).

Both players will compete in the US$1 million Dubai Duty-Free Men’s Open, which is the first round of the two-week Dubai Tennis Championships.” Tennis is one glam game for sure!
