Coldplay to play for one night at Emirates Palace

Coldplay, the biggest selling British alternative rock band for 2008 have confirmed that they are stopping at UAE for the first time as part of their world tour and will play a spectacular gig at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. They will play from their critically acclaimed fourth album, “Viva La Vida” which has earned the band three Grammy’s this year. The Emirates Palace is a huge and magnificent structure, constructed directly on the shores of the Gulf on its own 1.3kilometre of private beach. The Hotel has become a cultural hub and over the past year it has played host performances from such names as Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Christina Aquilera and Elton John.

Tickets are currently being sold on Time out Tickets, Ticketing Box Office and Box Office Me, but you will have to be quick in procuring the tickets as the concert is predicted to sell out of its 15,000 tickets in record time.
