Those with a penchant for luxe travel are in for a real treat with the renowned Circus Tram now unveiling a bespoke experience for those wanting to explore Hong Kong in style. In collaboration with Hong Kong Tramways and The Peninsula Hong Kong, the cultural start-up Circus is now set to offer luxury travel experiences for hotel guests as part of The Peninsula Academy program.

Christened the “Tale of A City: Bespoke Circus Tram Academy”, the experience entails riding in a unique, custom-designed Circus tram that boasts interiors inspired by Freud, Darwin and Chatham house. The exotic ride consists of three sections: the Chatham House with its clubby, tufted-leather ambience located behind the bar on the lower deck; the Freudians section at the front of the top deck with an open-air balcony; and the Darwin’s Garden – an urban green-house perched at the rear of the top deck.

The experience begins with an elegant ride in one of the hotel’s famed Rolls-Royce Phantoms that progresses further into a two-hour tram ride and a history and architectural tour hosted by an expert. Throughout the ride, guests can explore the tram’s intriguing rooms and indulge in canapés and beverages specially provided by The Peninsula. The Bespoke Circus Tram Academy experience is priced onward HK$ 46,888 ($5994 USD) for weekdays and HK$ 50,888 ($6504usd) for weekends for a minimum of two persons and a maximum of five persons.
