Decked with gems, diamonds and designer jewellery worth $15 million take a look at the worlds most expensive Christmas tree

The festive season is around the corner and while some of us are looking forward to a cozy time with family, others are maxing it out with extravagance unlike ever seen before! We’re talking about Marbella’s Kempinski Hotel Bahia – a luxury hotel in Spain’s southern coast that is all set to unveil an uber-lavish Christmas tree for the year!

In taking the tradition of decorating Christmas trees to a whole new level, the Spanish hotel has decked its own with a gazillion jewels and tons of sparkling ornaments. It is decorated with red, white, pink and black diamonds and even features upcycled jewelry from brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Chanel.

The larger-than-life Christmas tree is designed by fashion-designer-turned-baker Debbie Wingham and comes adorned with 3D-printed chocolate peacocks, feathers, ostrich eggs and bottles of perfume. With all its plush embellishments, Kempinski’s festive offering is touted to be worth a staggering £11.9 million or $15.4 million at current exchange rates, making it one of the most expensive Christmas trees in the world.

The luxury hotel will also host a special ‘Diamond and Champagne Night’ on December 28th where guests will be able to enjoy a cocktail menu and an exclusive meal prepared by Chef David Fernandez. If you want to enjoy an extravagant Christmas Holiday, you know where to head!
