The Four Seasons LA is offering Wellness Rooms with special menus, spa privileges and even mood lighting

The Four Seasons LA is taking the Californian health and wellness obsession one step further by offering five Wellness Rooms that are designed to give guests a holistic experience. The rooms have been created in partnership with Delos, company that designs spaces with wellness in mind. The rooms are located on the Spa level, and feature in-room amenities like exercise equipment, Alo yoga mats, nutritious snacks in the mini-bar, natural toiletry amenities from LATHER, and meditation videos by Deepak Chopra. Suffice to say that whoever stays in these rooms has no excuse to take a break from their diet/exercise plan even while on vacation.

For these rooms Delos has implemented circadian lighting that is controlled by a Mood box which can simulate the colour temperature and intensity of natural outdoor light. The Energize setting produces white light with blue tones that helps keep you awake while the Relax setting is optimized to put you in a restful state.

The Wellness rooms also have state-of-the-art air purification systems while the showers in the ensuites are fixed with de-chlorinators. The in-room dining menu features healthy options pre-approved by the Cleveland Clinic and guests are also entitled to certain spa privileges including the option to avail of 80 minute massages for the price of 50 minute massages.

“Located in the health-conscious mecca of Los Angeles, our guests of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills place a big priority on wellness to stay fit and healthy while travelling, especially with today’s hectic pace,” said Michael Newcombe, General Manager and Chair of the company’s Global Spa and Wellness Task Force. “We are continually looking to evolve the guest experience to deliver products and experiences that resonate with our guests, and this is the perfect hotel to launch a room product dedicated to supporting a wellness-based lifestyle while on the road.”
