Four nights at the Kate Middleton’s wedding hotel go for $1.5 million

If you would do anything to live the life of royalty for four nights in a row, then the holiday package celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee at the Goring Hotel is a taste of grandeur in a platter. The family owned hotel near Buckingham Palace is offering the world’s most expensive four-night holiday package for the Jubilee weekend in June for a whopping £1 million. (US $1.58 million) The package is complete with four nights in the Royal Suite, where Kate Middleton spent her last night as a commoner before the Royal Wedding with a reception on arrival with vintage Cristal champagne, a specially created Jubilee dinner, a chauffeur driven Bentley, a horse and carriage ride retracing the Queen’s original Coronation route and an afternoon tea for two. But all of the niche services are topped with a bespoke diamond ring from De Beers.

The hotel states that the package is a money saver as the ring itself is worth £1 million, hence the additional services are accompanied as benefits. However, those who’re unable to shell out big money on the Royal Suite can treat themselves to the more affordable Diamond Jubilee cocktail worth £120. ($190) Guests are allowed to retain the Swarovski glass in which the cocktail in served.
