Gstaad Palace offers Palace style Boot Camp for its guests

It’s thrilling to see hotels and resorts come up with un-exhaustible list of creative ideas to urge/attract customers to their abode. Marketing gimmicks take the form of Dinner in Sky events, 24kt Gold Afternoon Tea, 24×7 shopping indulgence, and 24kt gold iPads as virtual concierges, among others. Owning to the opulence these hotels offer, there need not be particular reasons as to why not to visit them; nonetheless, it’s a mad race between these, and there’s always the constant need to be the best, offering the best. We have a new innovative twist yet again, an indulgence offered by Gstaad Palace, Switzerland, offering a Palace style Boot Camp for its guests.

The unique Boot Camp experience that Gstaad Palace has organized for its guests would be done in cooperation with Martin Horn, brother of legendary extreme athlete and adventurer Mike Horn. The dates to this have been finalized between July 14 to July 20, 2013, and a second camp from August 18 to August 24, 2013. The camp would include a daily five-hour program that will meet a wide variety of fitness levels and personal training goals.

Starting with an initial fitness test, guests would be given a diet and nutrition plan tailored to their individual needs. Gstaad Palace is surrounded by the magnificent natural beauty of the Bernese Alps. The camp routine would include exciting sports such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting. The goals of the boot camp are to get guests out of their comfort zone and challenge and encourage participants, and thus harmonize body and mind.
