Led by a Buddhist monk – Aman has announced a six-night spiritual retreat at select resorts in Asia

The Aman group of hotels is one of the few hospitality groups that is carefully curating serene experiences and targeting the spiritual personality of vacation-goers. Beautifully labeled Journey to Peace, Aman’s six-night retreat will run from October 24th to November 28th and will encourage guests as they take on their passage to peace.

Journey to Peace will be led by Tibetan Lama Master Geshe YongDong at four selected properties. The properties that have been chosen for this blissful journey are within close proximity to us as they lie in South East Asia. Starting from October 22nd to 28th at Amanoi on the coast of Vietnam; next at Amanpuri in Phuket from November 2nd to 8th; then at Amansara, from November 12th to 18th, in Siem Reap near Angkor Wat’s magnificent ruins; and finally at Amantaka from November 22nd to 28th, in the UNESCO-protected Buddhist centre of Luang Prabang.

Master Geshe YongDong will enthral guests with sessions discussing the ancient lessons of the Bon Tibetan Tradition. The entire program has been designed for individuals who are seeking peace and an internal state of happiness. Each day, the retreat will focus on one of five key concepts that will ultimately change mind-sets to allow a healthier, happier life. Guests can choose a six-night retreat at one resort, combine two or more resorts, or join the whole 24-night program across all four destinations.
