Mandarin Oriental set to woo Vietnam with a 2020 debut in Saigon

At last, the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Group is stepping into Vietnamese boundaries. Come 2020, the uber extravagant hospitality brand is stamping its signature style in Saigon with a posh property at the popular Union Square.

Titled Mandarin Oriental Saigon, the hotel will occupy a prominent position in the heart of the city, forming part of a commercial building. A style often adopted by hotel brands, the hotel will be situated on the upper floors of the building. The hotel will play host to 227 guestrooms and suites, an impressive portfolio of six restaurants and bars, banqueting spaces, a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool and of course, their signature spa aSpa at Mandarin Oriental.

The group has selected an ideal location for its project with the hotel being in close proximity to the Saigon Opera House and the People’s Committee Building and within walking distance of most of the key landmarks in the city.
