Muji to soon open a luxurious hotel in Japan and China

If you do not have a strong Asian connection, you probably wouldn’t have heard or known of Muji. It is a Japanese departmental and consumer goods store that is loved and wanted by millions in the country. Ryohin Keikaku Co.,Ltd, the name behind Muji though, isn’t content with its sprawling chain of stores alone. Thus, it recently decided to notch it up a level by unveiling plans to open a new hotel in town!

Yep, that’s right! For ardent Muji fans and those in the making, Japan will soon have its very own Muji Hotel in the Ginza district of Tokyo. Slated for a 2019 opening, the 10-story property will house the brand’s flagship store on the first six floors, with those above being reserved for the novel Hotel space. If this wasn’t enough to excite home goods fans across the country, the marquee is also set to open an exotic Hotel in Shenzen, China!
